Overview of the Junior Tour
The ACED Junior Tour was started after all the great work of the Northern Junior Golf Tour over the past 15 years. The aim of the ACED Tour is to give more playing opportunities to junior golfers in the North East with less travel to and from events. Linking great local golf courses with juniors, giving the clubs an opportunity to showcase their course to local juniors. The Junior tour has full access to Golf Genius for live scoring and leaderboards. The Tour has also partnered with Champions of Champions which is a World Junior Championships held in Ireland in July each year. The Winners of the order of merits after the 10 events will qualify for a spot in the World Championship. This partnership futures the opportunities of juniors in the North East. Another great concept that the tour sets up differently to all other junior tours is all players are invited to play the final at the end of the season. Once the Order of Merit champions are announced its time to celebrate the great golf that has come from the season. The top half of each age group will play for the Final and the juniors outside of the top half will play in a reserve final. Making the Junior Final a true celebration of Golf. Entry fees are affordable with no membership. In 2026 players can enter all 10 events and receive a discount of Enter all 10 events and pay for 8. With all season ticket holders getting first access to the final alongside the top qualifiers before the Junior Final entries open. The ACED Junior Tour looks forward to seeing as many juniors from local and afar join us in 2026 for a great year of Junior Golf. The Order of merit runs over the 10 events with the leading player after the 10th round named the Order of Merit Champion in their age category. The Junior Final is a celebration of Junior Golf with all players invited to play. The top half of each age category will play for the Junior Final with the players outside the top half playing in the Reserve Final. On the Final day we will give out prizes to the Order of Merit Champions, The Junior Final Winners and the Reserve Final Winners. The ACED Junior Tour looks forward to seeing you at the events starting in April 2026 at Billingham Golf Club.

One of the oldest parkland courses in the North East Of England, Wearside is among a small number of golf clubs in Britain that start with a par 3 and finish with a par 5 travelling away from the clubhouse. This demanding course guarantees to provide picturesque views, and a friendly welcome, giving you a memorable visit to the Golf Club.
Situated in the Land of the Prince Bishops, with many stunning views of the picturesque Wear Valley and Auckland Castle, it is easy to see why we are considered one of the treasures in County Durham. The Bishop Auckland Golf Course is a par 72 course measuring 6,257 yards. The course has some of the best fairways you could wish to play from and the greens are fine and true. The 7th hole is regarded by many as one of the best in the North of England and has featured in many magazines. The course is truly a good test of golf for all handicaps.
Steeped in more than a hundred years of traditions you will be warmly welcomed when you visit Teesside Golf Club.
In the last 10 years it has undergone the largest transformation of any club in the area both on and off the course.
The course has been altered dramatically with new tees, ponds, bunkers and trees, planted to keep up with modern technology. A significant investment has been made in new drainage, irrigation and equipment to take the course and presentation up to the desired level. With future plans and funds allocated to improve both the practice and course facilities.

Our goal at Catterick is to provide a high quality golf experience from start to finish.
Located in beautiful County Durham, Barnard Castle Golf Club is just one mile north of the town towards Middleton in Teesdale. The relatively flat parkland course is noted for its natural surroundings including 4 streams that run throughout the course and come in to play on many of the holes.
The course is a par 73 and offers a fair, though sometimes difficult test of golfing skills.
Not many golf clubs can boast they share the same designer as one of the world’s leading courses but that is the case at The Darlington Golf Club. Founded in 1908 and designed by Dr Alister Mackenzie, the designer of the Augusta National, home to the US Masters, the 18-hole parkland course shares many similarities to the Masters’ track.
Huge rolling greens, lush, tree lined fairways and unforgiving semi rough challenges golfers of all abilities.
Richmond’s 18 holes comprise eight of the original nine holes and the ten which were added in 1972 by celebrated course designer, Fred Pennink, who expertly utilised every square foot of space then available.
Cleveland Golf Club was established in 1887, our course is the only true Championship links, and also the Oldest Course in the County of Yorkshire. Over the clubs history, it is known that a few architects have had involvement in the design of the golf course, the most famous being Old Tom Morris, Harry S Colt, and then in 2000 Donald Steel, who designed three new holes. In 2007 the club hosted the English Golf Union County Finals, and many other County and Professional events, and is the home to the Amateur scratch competition the Cleveland Salver. In August 2011, the club hosted the Yorkshire County Team Championship. In the August of 2017, we held the prestigious Yorkshire Amateur Championship, where Alex Fitzpatrick was victorious, during the Championship, Alex shot Course Record 62 on his way to victory.
The golf course and its facilities are well established in the golfing world, a view that is firmly endorsed by the PGA, who regularly use the facilities for competitions.
The superb 18 hole parkland golf course extends over 145 acres and offers one of the best 13 bay floodlit driving ranges powered by Top Tracer technology, offering distance markers, raised target greens and chipping nets.
